“The Seven Dwarfs of Auschwitz” by Yehuda Koren and Eliat Negev

The book of Israeli writers, Yehuda Koren and Eliat Negev, “The Seven Dwarfs of Auschwitz” will be presented tonight (8/2), at 18:00, at the Ianos Bookstore on 24, Stadiou street in central Athens. Greek writer Xristos Homenidis will discuss with the writers and the audience about the book.

The book will also be presented in Thessaloniki on February 9th (19:00) at the Ianos Bookstore at Aristotelous square.

“The Seven Dwarfs of Auschwitz” is an astonishing story of survival against the odds. The Ovitz family, seven of whose children were dwarves, performed across eastern Europe in the 1930s and ‘40s as “The Lilliput Troupe”. Captured in 1944 and sent to Auschwitz, they continued to perform and escaped death.

Yehuda Koren and Eilat Negev are journalists whose work has been widely published and critically acclaimed across the globe.
