Étienne Balibar: “The idea of revolution: yesterday, today and tomorrow”

The Athens Concert Hall, whithin the framework of the cycle, “Theory in Megaron: Philosophy, Critique, History”, on May 6th will host Étienne Balibar, professor Emeritus of Moral and Political Philosophy at Université de Paris X – Nanterre,  professor of Humanities at the University of California, Irvine and Birkbeck Institute Professorial Fellow 2007-2014.

Balibar has published widely in the area of the Marxist philosophy and moral and political philosophy in general. The event is taking place in collaboration with the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities. MP Costas Douzinas, director of the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities is is the cycle’s supervisor.
