Judith Butler: “Bodies that still matter”

Judith Butler on May 11th will give a lecture under the title, “Bodies that Still Matter’ at the Athens Concert Hall.

Judith Butler is professor in the Department of Comparative Literature and the Program of Critical Theory at the University of California, Berkeley and Birkbeck Institute Professorial Fellow. She is the author of “Subjects of Desire: Hegelian Reflections in Twentieth-Century France”, “Gender Trouble: Feminism and the Subversion of Identity”, “Bodies That Matter: On the Discursive Limits of “Sex””, etc. She is active in gender and sexual politics and human rights and anti-war politics.

The event is taking place in collaboration with the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities.
