The 8th LEA Festival to take place in Athens, Thessaloniki and Lefkada

Athens, Thessaloniki and the Ioanian island of Lefkada will host the events of the 8th Iberoamerican Festival LEA from June 21 to the 25th. The aim of the festival is to approach the diverse Iberoamerican culture through literature, art, music and gastronomy.

Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the rich literary work of Latin American, Spanish and Portuguese writers and intellectuals. Guests of the festival include Jorge F. Hernández, Andrés Neuman, Héctor Abad Faciolince, Pep Bruno, Ernesto Mallo and many Greek writers and artists.

The festival is organized by the cultural magazine, “Sol Latino”, the Maria Tsakos Public Benefit Foundation and it is under the auspices of the City of Athens, the Embassies of Argentina, Venezuela, Brasil, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Uruguay, Panama, Peru, Portugal and Chile and the Honorary Consulates of Colombia, Nicaragua and Paraguay.
