“Georgia’s European Ways” – book

The book “Georgia’s European Ways” is initiated by the Office of the State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.

The book represents a collection of essays by prominent Georgian thinkers who share peculiarities of European Georgia and elucidates Georgia’s craving towards the family of European nations. The essays reveal European identity of Georgia in politics, culture and aesthetics. “Georgia’s European Ways” explains Georgian aspiration to return to the family of European nations as essays focus on European political-cultural and aesthetic links with the Georgian society.

The English edition of “Georgia’s European Ways” was presented to the European Parliament, in Brussels in Stockholm- Swedish Institute for International Affairs and the Federal Republic of Germany.

On April 13, the book was presented at the London House of Europe.

On March 25, a presentation of the book “Georgia’s European Ways” was organized by the Embassy of Georgia in Paris, France. The presentation took place at the Académie Diplomatique Internationale.

On March 3 “Georgia’s European Ways” was presented in Rome by the edition redactor Mr. Zurab Karumidze and one of the authors, Philologist, Levan Gigineishvili.

On June 1, the State Minister presented “Georgian European Ways” at the Hague Institute for Global Justice.

On Monday, June 27, 2016 at 12.00, the Embassy of Georgia to the Hellenic Republic  with the support of  the European Commission Representation in Greece is organizing the book launch (address: 2, Vas. Sophias Ave, Athens), where the State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, H.E. Mr. David Bakradze will present the book.
