SUMMARY:Chinese art at the City of Athens Arts Centre
DESCRIPTION:An exhibition of contemporary Chinese art opened its doors recently at the City of Athens Arts centre\, entitled\, "Cultural Context".\n\nIt includes works of prominent Chinese artists\, such as Ding Yi\, Shang Yang\, Jiang Ji'an\, Wang Gang\, Qiu Zhijie\, Zhang Chun Da Bao\, Tan Ping\, Liang Quan\, Li Lei and Lu De'an. Their aim was to depict the cultural\, financial\, social and political aspects of China through their artifacts.\n\nThe exhibition is organized by the City of Athens Cultural\, Sports and Youth Organization\, the Association of Chinese Art and Entertainment and the Embassy of China in Athens. It will run until February 20th\, at the City of Athens Arts centre\, at Eleftherias Park\, next to the Athens Concert Hall on Vasilissis Sofias Avenue.
