SUMMARY:Photographic Pairs 2016
DESCRIPTION: \n\nThe Hellenic American Union and the Hellenic American College (HAEC) present\, in cooperation with the Photography Circle\, the sixth exhibition of the series Photographic Pairs.\n\nEach exhibition in the Photographic Pairs series features the work of two photographers\, both members of the “Photography Circle”\, whose paths in life or photography cross. In some cases the featured photographers will be relatives or dear friends; or it may be that their subject matter or approach will be common. They may also be related by the substantial difference of a seemingly common work. In any case\, the dialogue will extend beyond the actual photos of the exhibition\, in an attempt to explore points of convergence and divergence.\n\nThe sixth photographic pair are Anthi Mara and Panagiotis Markolefas. The two photographers share a personal relationship which began when they were introduced while participating at the “Photography Circle”.
