FM Kotzias is visiting the Islamic Republic of Iran

Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias is visiting the Islamic Republic of Iran, accompanied by Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Mardas, Deputy Industry Minister Theodora Tzakri, and a Greek business delegation.

Yesterday, Kotzias was received by the President of Iran, Dr. Hassan Rouhani, and had a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, followed by a news briefing. Kotzias met with the President of the Iranian Parliament, Dr. Ali Ardeshir Larijani, and attended an event at the Greek Embassy, with the members of the Greek business delegation and Iranian officials and entrepreneurs.

Today, Kotzias will meet with Petroleum Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh and Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abbas Ahmad Akhoundi.

Finally, Kotzias has delivered a welcome address at the “Iran-Greece Forum: Undiscovered Opportunities” conference and speak at the University of Tehran regarding the priorities of Greek foreign policy in the current regional and international state of affairs.
