The “CodeGirls” program continues in Trikala and Patras
The U.S. Embassy in Athens and Mataora are currently running a coding program for girls, aged between 10 and 16 years old, that have a passion for technology. Entitled “CodeGirls”, the program invites young, Greek girls to learn more on the computer science. Girls will use innovative tools and with the guidance of two experienced female instructors will learn:
- To create simple websites and communicate through the internet.
- To use the HTML5 and CSS programming languages.
- The necessary skills that are now required by the international market.
- The secrets and the future of new technologies.
Next classes will take place in April (weekends 2-3, 9-10, 16-17) in the cities of Trikala and Patras. Participation in the program is free. For more information and the application form visit the Mataora web page.
