2nd Banking Forum: Towards an Efficient Banking System

Symeon G. Tsomokos S.A., together with capital.gr and Kefalaio newspaper on April 8th will hold the 2nd Banking Forum entitled “Towards an Efficient Banking System: Strategies,Plans, Perspectives”, at the Grande Bretagne Hotel in Athens.

The banking industry is currently at a critical juncture in which old business models are being rewritten and the new environments are driving changes. There has been a paradigm shift in many different areas such as the business channels, the competitive landscape, the macro environment and the business models. The second Banking Forum will look at the upcoming changes to the industry and discuss how the industry should react to the emerging challenges and opportunities entailing from the globalization of the financial markets.

The Forum, organized by one of Greece’s biggest media houses and the most prominent high-level conference organizer, is destined to become a field for a fruitful dialogue presenting the challenges and prospects of the banking industry in the wider South East European region
