FM Kotzias at the NATO Summit
Foreign Minster Nikos Kotzias met in Warsaw on Saturday with the Foreign Minister of Estonia, Marina Kaljurand, within the framework of the NATO Summit.
During the meeting, the two Ministers exchanged views on the situation taking shape in Europe following the result of the UK referendum and agreed on the importance of maintaining the unity of the European Union. They also discussed the refugee and migration crisis and Ms. Kaljurand expressed to Mr. Kotzias, Estonia’s will to share the burdens arising from the refugee crisis and implement the decisions that have been taken on a European level for the relocation of refugees to its territory.
Foreign Minister Kotzias also met with the Foreign Minister of FYROM, Nikola Poposki. The two Ministers discussed on issues of bilateral cooperation, with emphasis on the promotion and implementation of confidence-building measures between the two countries, and discussed the latest developments in the region.
