Christmas Bazaar at the Scandinavian church
The traditional Christmas Bazaar in Plaka organised by the Scandinavian Church takes place from 20 to 22 November. Visitors will find handmade Christmas decorations, festive atmosphere, chocolates, candles and ginger biscuits, can taste some of the Nordic traditional food, like the salmon sandwitches and Norwegian waffles with cream and strawberry jam and try out also the priest’s famous mulled wine.
A part of the financial result from the bazaar will be donated to local organisations in Athens in collaboration with “Apostoli” (“Mission”) a charity organization run by the Orthodox Church of Greece.
The bazaar takes place at the Scandinavian Church in Daidalou 18, Plaka. Opening hours: Friday 12:00-20:00, Saturday 12:00-18:00, Sunday 12:00-16:00.
