Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias met with the Foreign Ministers of Cyprus and Lebanon, Ioannis Kasoulides and Gebran Bassil in Brussels, on the sidelines of the meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council.
This first such trilateral meeting focused on issues of regional and international interest, while special emphasis was put on the refugee crisis, terrorism and the peace process in the wider Middle East.
Participants also looked at the prospects of building a trilateral cooperation in the economic and trade sectors, as well as in the sectors of energy, security and culture.
Minister Kotzias and Ioannis Kasoulids agreed to visit Lebanon in the near future.
