“Bring a child to work”

Over the past years, education has become central to the South African Embassy activities and as such one of the key priorities of South African Foreign Policy.

In this respect, the Embassy initiated a school project with the title “bring a child to work”. The project serves as a career guide, providing motivation for students to better identify themselves with careers in the public sector, private sector and or related fields, particularly in the field of Diplomacy.

Byron College and Costeas Geitonas School had the opportunity to visit the South African Embassy premises and learn more about South Africa, South African Embassy in Athens-Greece, and its functions on a daily basis and had the opportunity to meet with the Diplomats. The Embassy’s diplomats welcomed the students and had the chance to brief them on their own fields of expertise.
