The Greek Film Archives will host the 12th Panorama of Ecological Films: “Windows on the Planet”, starting tonight (November 18th) and until November 21st.
Organized by the Hellenic Society for the Environment and Cultural Heritage (ELLET), with the support of the Embassy of France in Athens and Institute Francais, the event will include Greek and foreign productions (from Australia, Britain, France, Georgia, Denmark, USA, Italy, and Colombia) of environmental orientation. Parallel events will include open discussions and presentations by distinguished personalities and academics, including Professor Ch. Zerefos, Dr. Philip Kyrkitsos, president of Ecological Recycling Society and others.
Screenings will take place on:
-November 18 & 19: Greek Film Archive (48, Iera Odos st. & 134-136 Megalou Alexandrou st., Kerameikos)
-November 20 & 21: ELLET ( 28 Tripodon Street, Plaka)
On Saturday November 21st, the festival urges all children (between 5-11 years old) to watch a series of documentaries on the environment and participate in a composting workshop.
